Colors are great! Colors are cheerful! If you choose the right colors, your event venue will look amazing! Choosing colors for your event is necessary because without doing so, your event will look scattered and disorganized, and i'm sure nobody would want that. If you don't have any colors, your event planner could help you choose.
Your decorator will ask you for your colors of the day. If they do, it is pertinent to have your choice ready.
Choosing your colors is one of the first steps to be taken when planning a event because it will guide the other arrangements. Every other arrangement may require colors, and in that case, it will be advisable to use the color code.
Other areas that may require colours are:
         The invitation cards
The bridal-train (In the case of weddings)
         The venue decor
         Asoebi

There are lots of colors to choose from. You may combine 2-4 colors. But no matter the number of colors, the key point is to make sure that these colors blend. They shouldn’t contrast each other. Rather, they should complement each other. Don't let your event venue look like a carnival. If you have your personal favorite colors, you could use them. Examples of combinations are as follows:

         Mint green and gold
  Peach and cream
  Rose, peach and cream
  Mustard and light brown
Coffee brown, light brown and cream
Sea green, cream and olive green
  Mint green and peach.
         Olive green, cream, and gold
         Turquoise blue and gold
Black and fuschia pink (Yes, it werks! check out Basket mouth's wedding, amazing!)
         Silver and pink
         Burgundy and gold
         Light blue and yellow
That is to mention but a few. You could use the list above to help your choice. Remember, choose wisely. If you get confused, ask a friend with a good eye to help you choose. Even if the venue doesn't look too good, choosing the right colors will give it a new and better look. Having said all that, Good luck, and have fun!
